May 18th – Armed Forces Day Fun Fest,  American Hero Classic Car Show & Motorcycle Rally Poker Run – All Rolled into One Fun Filled Day! - Downtown Nocona’s once again the “Happenin’ Place” as Nocona celebrates Fun Fest and Armed Forces Day all rolled into one celebration!  Vendors open at 9am. Activities include bounce houses, rock climbing wall, dunkin’ booth, food and fun (that’s why they call it Fun Fest).  And the Nocona Lions Club is sponsoring  Butterfield Stage rides and a kiddie train too!

May 18th – Nocona VFW hosts a dance featuring Cody Robbins – starting at 9pm

May 18th at dusk (around 8:30pm) – Nocona Star Stomp at Tales ‘n’ Trails Museum – $10 per car. Come check out the rings of Saturn on the BIG telescopes provided by the South Plains Astronomy Club & Three Rivers Foundation for the Arts & Sciences.  Bring your binoculars, your own telescopes, lawn chairs and flashlights (lens covered with red cellophane).

May 27th – Nocona Senior Citizens’ Carpenter Shop’s Memorial Day Rib Dinner (5pm to 8pm) featuring music by Simply Honky Tonk

June 1st – Rolling History Tour sponsored by the Montague County Historical Commission.  $10 per rider.  Register at 9am, because the bus leaves at 9:30am from the Tales ‘n’ Trails Museum for a historic tour of Nocona!
