It’s “A Winter Wonderland” in Nocona!

Santa Claus comes to Christmas in Nocona! (Dec 7)

Ho, Ho, Ho! Santa arrives in downtown Nocona in the Christmas in Nocona Parade, which starts around 5pm. Bring the kids, large and small, to give Ole Saint Nick their want lists! Then shop ’til you drop!

An ice skating rink and a carnival for the kids completes the Winter Wonderland event!

 

Join the Merchants Celebrate Christmas in Nocona! (Dec 7 & 8)

Support our local economy and take advantage of the specials our downtown merchants will be offering during the Christmas in Nocona evening. There will also be fun and games going on in the Mary Beckham Davis Park across from Legend Bank and drawings for all kinds of merchandise!

Firemen’s Fish Fry! (Dec 7)

The local volunteer firemen will be holding their fish fry before the Christmas in Nocona Parade at the fire hall just behind Wells Fargo Bank.

This is their annual major fund raiser and everyone should come out and support this great group of local heroes!! Never know when you might need them! Great catfish and calf fries with all the trimmings! You won’t go away hungry! …What a great cause and tax write-off!

 

Dance the Night Away at the Cowboy Christmas Ball! (Dec 7)Tommy Alverson at Christmas in Nocona

After the fish fry and Santa, slip away to the final event of the evening….Nocona Nights Cowboy Christmas Ball featuring Tommy Alverson! This event will be held at the Veranda Inn Events Center at 1523 E. Hwy. 82 in Nocona. Advance tickets are available at the Nocona Chamber of Commerce for $50 per person, which includes food and dancing.

Cowboy Christmas Campfire at the Museum! (Dec 8)

All you little buckaroos!  Don your cowboy gear and bring your best pony (prize for best-decorated stick horse!) – Join in the games, hear some cowboy stories and have a campfire cookout!  Only $5 a head.  Call the museum to reserve your spot around the campfire! (825-5330)
